Malin Flodström Tullberg gets prize for diabetes research
Malin Flodström Tullberg at CIM is awarded with the Johnny Ludvigsson prize for young researchers for her studies of pancreatic islets beta cells in type 1 diabetes. The explanatory statement says that she especially has contributed to a better understanding of how beta cells themselves contribute to be target cells in the autoimmune process that leads to the loss of the beta cells.
