2012-05-14 - 2012-05-16 | Time: 09.00
Location: Nobel Forum, Solna Campus

Session I: The elderly and centennials

Session II: The adult period

Session III: The early life

Concept and vision

Welcome to the MTC days 2012, A Journey Through Life! Our intention this year is to integrate the scientific cornerstones at MTC, i.e. Tumor, Micro- and Immuno- Biology into three different periods of a life cycle and how environmental cues, such as diet and microorganisms, can impact our wellbeing. With this mindset, the outlined program aims to reflect ongoing research activities at the department and when applicable, presenting investigators will make an attempt to translate the relevance of their results in a disease perspective. Furthermore, as you know there are major upcoming organization changes at KI and this reshaping of our University is currently subject to intense discussions. We have therefore asked four investigators at MTC to give a five to six minute presentation on how they see the future of our research fields in the coming years. We look forward to two exciting days full of intense scientific discussions combined with laughter and pleasant social interactions.
