Travel grants
Twice a year, the PhD Committee announces travel grants for formally admitted PhD students at the Department of Women's and Children's Health for the periods January 1 - June 30 and July 1 - December 31, respectively. The travel must be connected with, and of importance for, the PhD study project.
Grants awarded for the period July-December 2013

Compulsory application enclosures
- Signed certificate from the main supervisor stating the importance of the study visit for the PhD project
- Congress abstract (incl. confirmation of participation if available) or invitation to another university
A prerequisite for awarding a grant is
that compulsory reports according to the rules have been submitted, i.e. yearly follow-ups as well as activity and financing report.
Grants are awarded for
- Study visits to a foreign university/laboratory to e.g. learn new technique of importance for the PhD project (outside Sweden)
- Presentation at an international scientific congress (outside Sweden)
To get hold of an awarded travel grant, you have to send in a separate travel report (see form below). The grant is i.e. available after having undertaken the journey. The grant cannot be used for another journey than the one applied for.
