PhD Admission Seminar
The project plan should be presented in English at a committee meeting.
Invitation
An invitation to the seminar will be sent to the applicant and the main supervisor approx. one week before the seminar.
Presentation
The presentation should last for 10 minutes exactly and will be followed by a discussion. At the meeting, the applicant will also have the opportunity to respond to possible questions from members of the committee.
The applicant as well as the main supervisor should be present at the meeting. Should the main supervisor be affiliated with another Department at KI than Women's and Children's Health, the co-supervisor should also be present at the meeting. If possible, the external mentor is recommended to take part in the meeting. No person not directly concerned with the applicant's PhD project is allowed at the seminar.
Decision
on the application is then made by the committee behind closed doors. The applicant and the main supervisor will be informed on the decision in writing as soon as possible after the meeting date.
