Sign up for the doctoral programme in metabolism and endocrinology

Are you already enrolled in doctoral education at KI?

As a doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet (KI) you can sign up for one or more doctoral programmes. The programmes collect courses and activities in a certain research area and thus help you to find relevant courses and come in contact with students and researchers within your field. If you are interested metabolism and enocrinology, you may want to join the MetEndo programme.

Apply by sending an email with your name, your supervisor's name and your department to Dr. Jurga Laurencikiene. By joining, you do not commit to participate in any activities and you may still choose which doctoral courses you want to attend.

Application and admission to MetEndo doctoral courses

KI has a central application system for all doctoral courses. Available courses are announced in once per semester, mid-April for autumn courses and mid-October for spring. Application is open for one month. The courses within the MetEndo programme are described here (theoretical), here (practical) and in the course catalogue. You apply to them through the central application system.

Do you want to become a doctoral student at KI?

Doctoral programmes are NOT the way to apply for doctoral education at KI. These programmes are not organized programmes in the sense that a whole class studies together towards a PhD-degree, but are a way for already enrolled students to find courses and meet researchers within their research field.
