Loo and Hans Osterman Foundation for Medical Research
The Board of Research hereby invites applications for grants from Loo and Hans Osterman Foundation for Medical Research, primarily with relevance to geriatrics.
Eligible to apply are researchers with a doctoral degree earned no more than 7 years ago. The time limit may be extended with a maximum of 24 months (equivalent to full-time) compensating for clinical activity, parental leave, military service or long-term sick leave.
Grants is awarded usually maximum three times total from Loo and Hans Osterman Foundation.
Awarded grants varies between 50,000 to 150,000 SEK per person.
The application must be submitted digitally. The form will be available through KI Prisma during the application period, January 10 – 24, 2017. The application period closes 2.00 pm.
The applicant’s role in the research project is to be described in detail. Grants may be awarded to the same project for up to three years. An applicant who has received grants for the same project during three consecutive years, and who now aims to apply for funding for another project, must clearly motivate how the current project differs from the previous one.
Decision of grant will be taken by the Board of Research. All applicants will be notified by e-mail no later than April.
Anyone who previously received a grant from the foundation for the same project must attach a progress report (no more than 3 A4 pages). Note that the application would be disqualified from funding if such a report is missing, for those who previously have received funding for the same project.
