Competitor analysis workshop
Welcome to a brief workshop about competitor analysis and experience the work at Deallus Consulting. Jonas Pedersén, the founder and CEO will host the workshop. The target group is PhD students in their final year and postdocs.
Jonas Pedersén is the Executive Director of Deallus Consulting Ltd. He will give a brief presentation of the company and a workshop on how they help biopharmaceutical companies compete successfully.
The proposed agenda would be:
- Introduction (30 min)
- Competitor Analysis session (60 min)
- Discussion on workshop and consulting at Deallus (30min)
During the discussion you will also have the possibility to listen to Ylva Bonde, postdoc at KI, who performed an internship there recently.
The competitor analysis session:
We will analyse a possible positioning of Tecfidera from Biogen in anticipation of the Roche launch into the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) marketplace. We will conduct a product profile analysis, a product differentiation analysis versus the Roche compound and closing off with a Positioning statement for Tecfidera. The objectives is to give you a feel for the kind of analysis we do, the kind of data one would need to generate for this kind of analysis and then discuss why this kind of analysis is helpful to the clients. We will use a case study that we have developed for training purposes, but it is a real situation with real data.
The week before we will send all participants a briefing pack with market background information, a company profile as well as some relevant product information.
