Non-smokers/smokers needed for a study on chronic bronchitis

A study where lung function and airway inflammation are studied in individuals with chronic bronchitis; smokers and swine farmers compared with healthy non-smokers.

Men/women between 25-65 years of age and one of the following:

  • Smokers with chronic bronchitis (defined as having coughed phlegm at least 3 months/year for the last 2 years).
  • Healthy non-smokers with no cough.

The study includes 1 visit to IMM, KI (2-3 hours) with measurements of lung function, blood sampling, induced sputum and sampling of saliva.
Participants are compensated by 800 kr (taxable).
