This lunch seminar is open to anyone that wants to know more about how work is performed in the media news room. Preference will be given to people working in EU projects. Before the seminar, we offer you lunch and an opportunity to mingle with colleagues from other EU-funded research projects.

The speaker, Malin Attefall, is a science reporter, and the editor of SVT’s weekly science programme, Vetenskapens värld. She also covers science news for the daily news shows on SVT and the website.

During the seminar, you will learn more about the everyday work of a journalist. You will also get a better understanding of journalists’ working conditions and how this affects your ability to get your news out.

The organizer of the seminar is CommHERE (Communicating European Health Research) an EU project coordinated from KI that aims to spread information about research within FP7 Health to the general public. CommHERE supports coordinators, researchers and communication officers in their efforts to disseminate their research. Read more at: www.commhere.eu
