Guest Lecture! “Innovative strategies for health communication”

Dr Rima Rudd, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

CES (SLSO) invites the department of PHS to come and listen to and participate in an lecture about “Innovative strategies for health communication” with senior lecturer on Health Literacy Dr. Rima Rudd.

Dr. Rima Rudd is a member of the faculty in Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her teaching, research studies, and policy work are focused on health disparities and literacy related barriers to health information, health programs, services, and care. Dr. Rudd served on the original Institute of Medicine Health Literacy Committee and has written and contributed to multiple health policy reports, white papers, and research studies. She currently serves on the institute of Medicine Round Table on Health Literacy and is engaged in research and policy projects in the US, Europe, and Australia. Rima Rudd is a founder of and a leader in the burgeoning field of health literacy studies and has won multiple awards for her contributions.
