I have an interdisciplinary background comprising practical skills in areas such as ultra-sensitive protein detection techniques, molecular medicine, bioimaging molecular tools, microbiology and image analysis. Besides having theoretical studies in the same fields I also acquired knowledge in leadership, cognitive sciences and regenerative medicine during summer courses at UCBerkeley (California, USA) and Charité (Berlin, Germany).
My future career goals concern having a role on the clarification of regenerative mechanisms in the brain, ultimately aiming for the development of therapies for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer and Parkinson.
