About me

I am a biträdande lektor (assistant professor) in the Division led by Michael Uhlin (HERM, MedH, Huddinge campus).

Research

My main research interests are i) T cell based immunotherapy such as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) therapy for hematological malignancies and solid tumor, ii) gamma-delta (γδ) T cells and the involvement of their different subsets in the clinical setting of cancer and infections and iii) harness the innate and cross-presentation properties of γδ T cells for immune therapy purpose.

My second focus is the sustainable development of research and diagnosis (mainly immunology but not exclusively) in low- and middle- income countries (LMICs). I work together the Pasteur Network of Senegal and Madagascar to support capacity building and promote clinical research excellence.

Teaching

Laboratory training and supervision of biomedical analyst students, biology master students, medical interns and PhD students at Karolinska Institutet and Pasteur Institute of Dakar, Senegal.
