About me

I am a PhD student in Epidemiology and Healthcare science. I am a Medical Doctor from Bucaramanga, Colombia, where I worked in the area of primary healthcare research. I completed my master in Public Health Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet in 2016, where I studied the association between diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia as risk factors for musculoskeletal pain. Besides musculoskeletal research, I have a wide span of interests, such as health services research, methodologies for evaluation of interventions, clinical epidemiology and public health research.
