I study aging from a life course perspective, focusing on lifestyle and socioeconomic factors. My ongoing research is mainly about differential vulnerability and the association between lifestyle factors and health in different socioeconomic groups. I am also interested in health trends in the older population and how different cohorts of older individuals differ with regard to lifestyle factors and other living conditions.
