About me

Medical Doctor, Senior Consultant and Associate Professor in Infectious Diseases with expertise in vaccinology. Course leader and founder of biannual 2-week course "Vaccinology in practice" for medical doctors and nurses. I am also appointed as Chair for the Regional Vaccine Expert group as well as the Vaccine Expert Group for Swedish Society for Infectious Diseases Physicians. I have an assignment as expert coordinator in the field of Infectious Diseases and Vaccine Preparedness at the Centre for Health Crises.

Research

Clinical vaccine trials and register based research. Vaccine immunogenicity and effect in different subpopulations such as immunosuppressed, pregnant, elderly and obese persons. Vaccination/implementation/health economics and clinical outcome in relation to vaccination status.

Teaching

Course Leader and Founder. Vaccinology in practice for Medical Doctors and nurses. Annual, two week course (3 hp).
