I am currently a PhD student in the Neuroscience field at the division of clinical geriatrics.
My education is in the field of electrical engineering (BSc) and biomedical engineering (MSc).
My main research interests are in the application of machine learning techniques in neuroimaging data processing. I am particularly interested in utilizing advanced multivariate data analysis methods (kernel-based methods) and neuroimaging biomarkers (MRI and PET) for early detection of Alzheimer disease (AD). I am also doing some research on the Swedish Dementia Registry (SveDem), which is a national quality registry on dementia disorders.
- Develop and investigate multivariate classifiers to create an AD diagnostic index using multiple biomarkers (MRI, PET, CSF etc.)
- Baseline and longitudinal evaluation of the multivariate-based diagnostic index for early detection of AD
