About me

I’m Consultant in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine at Levanger Hospital, Nord-Trøndelag Hospital Trust, in Levanger, Norway.

I’ve done my Ph.D. at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway, on epidemiology of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) using a large prospective cohort study from Norway, the HUNT study.

I’m currently Postdoc at KI working with aetiology, occurrence and prevention of GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal adenocarcinoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma and gallstone disease, using Norwegian and Swedish population-based studies and national registries.
