PhD Ergonomics, MSc Ergonomics/HTO, BSc Mechanical Engineer.

Education

2017 PhD Technology and Health (Ergonomics), KTH Royal Institute of Technology, School of Technology and Health.

2010 MSc Ergonomics/Human-Technology-Organisation, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, School of Technology and Health.

Research description

My research interest concerns Ergonomics/Human Factors. In particularly physical ergonomics, with a focus on design and assessment of work related to manual handling and adverse postures, using biomechanics, psychophysics, physiology and epidemiology as base. My research interests also target the usage of risk assessment tools among OHS-practitioners and facilitators, barriers for implementing ergonomics measures and its context.

My PhD studies resulted in the development of the risk assessment tool ´RAMP´ (Risk Assessment and Management tool for manual handling Proactively). RAMP can be used for assessing ergonomics risk factors related with industrial manual handling tasks, e.g. postures, lifting.
