PhD candidate with a background in behavioural science and anthropology specialising in behaviour change through motivational interviewing with parents to prevent child obesity.
I conduct my PhD project in the research group Community Nutrition and Physical Activity at the Department of Public Health Sciences. In my PhD project I evaluate a parental support intervention, A Healthy School Start. The intervention is carried out as a cluster RCT and is aimed to promote healthy dietary and physical activity behaviours and to prevent child obesity in disadvantaged areas. In my research I use both quantitative and qualitative methods.
