I am completing my first post-doctoral fellowship, working with Joelle Rüegg, at Swedish Toxicology Sciences Research Center (Swetox) in the field of “Epigenetic Toxicology”. I am also part of Prof. Tomas Ekström's group at the Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM). I have a PhD in Human Medicine from Medical University of Graz, Austria. My Research experience includes an 11-months visiting scholarship at Freie Universität Berlin – Germany.
PhD in Human Medicine (2010-2014): Medical University of Graz, Austria.
M.Sc. in Medical Physics (2007-2010): Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran.
B.Sc. in General Biology (2002-2006): Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran.

I have a broad research experience. I have an MSc. in Medical physics from Shiraz university, Iran, that entailed biological effects of different types of radiation. I wrote my MSc. dissertation on “The Effect of Gamma Irradiation on Nitric Oxide Pathway of Aorta”.
I continued towards completing my PhD in bio-medical sciences at Medical University of Graz. My PhD focus was the molecular regulators of cell death pathway (as the cause of neurodegeneration as well as cardiovascular disease) in mammalian, yeast and D. melanogaster models. This training and research experience included a 10-month visiting scholarship at Freie Universität of Berlin.
My post-doctoral training topic is environmental epigenetics. I am particularly focused on chemical exposure during development and its association with onset of diseases. Moreover I am working on estrogen-receptors mediated regulation of DNA methylation. My project aim to of the project is to set up a novel method to screen chemicals for their potential to induce DNA methylation changes.
I have teaching exprineces as well supervisorship of master students. I have listed them in my Resume (please see below) or my LinkedIn profile.
I have number of presentations in national and international meetings. For more detailed information please check-out my resume (please see below) or visit my LinkedIn profile.
