Title: Enhancing Neuro Imaging Genetics through Meta-Analysis

ENIGMA has meta-analyzed data from ~11,000 subjects with both imaging and GWAS data. The first paper from this group identified significant loci impacting hippocampal and total brain volume. Current studies are underway for 5 psychiatric disorders, DTI measures, and subcortical structures among others.

Sarah Medland works in the Genetic Epidemiology Unit of the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (Brisbane, Australia). Her lab conducts genetics research on a diverse range of project topics including: ADHD, drug use, fingerprints, educational attainment, and anthropometric traits. She is also a leader of the Enhancing Neuro Imaging Genetics Through Meta-Analysis (ENIGMA) consortium for imaging genetics:
