Considering a career in academia? Then this is for YOU!
Karolinska Institutet Career Service and leading Networking Strategist Mary-Rose Hoja are again joining forces to launch the new KICSNet Boot Camp: Academia for researchers interested in staying in academia.
KICSNet Boot Camp: Academia will be held at KI Solna starting Friday, 13 September, 2013.
This pilot KICSNet Boot Camp: Academia is a great opportunity for academic professionals to pave their way to professional success. This 3-step Bootcamp will cover aspects of networking your way in academia from a very practical perspective.

What is the KICSNet Boot Camp about?

During the boot camp, 15 individuals will have a unique opportunity to attend an academic employer reception featuring a researcher elevator pitch competition and network space.

The aim is to facilitate dialogue between academic employers and researchers, followed by an elevator pitch competition where researchers will present the added value they offer to academic employers. Employers will judge the pitches, and the discussions will involve informal networking, plus real-time networking training by Mary-Rose Hoja.

Delivered by Networking Strategist Mary-Rose Hoja, and featuring recruitment specialists, key academic representatives and successful researchers, this Bootcamp will help participants develop their career know-how and connect them to established local networks.

Suited to doctoral students and postdocs, this Bootcamp is ideal for anyone looking to pursue an academic career.
