Professor John DiPersio, University of Washington, will give a seminar entitled "Biology of Stem and Leukemia Cell Trafficking".

Professor DiPersio is a leading researcher in the field of bone marrow transplantation and stem cell trafficking. He is Chief of the Oncology Division at University of Washington in St Louis. Professor DiPersio has a long list of publications in the field of stem cell mobilization, allogeneic and autologous transplantation and acute leukemia. He was the principal investigator of the pivotal trials for plerixafor in stem cell mobilization and has also done research in the field of CXCR4 interaction for chemosensitization in acute leukemia. Professor DiPersio has also a special interest in graft versus host disease in allogeneic transplantation.
