HIC seminar: Heart rate variability biofeedback - Should we gamificate it?

2015-10-0614:00 to 15:30 Karolinska Institutet, LIME, the Widerström building, Tomtebodavägen 18 A, plan 3, room EngageCampus SolnaHIC - Health Informatics Centre

Welcome to a seminar with Thomas Wollmann, MSc. student in medical computer science at Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg and Heilbronn University

Heart rate variability(HRV) biofeedback is a non invasive method to train the autonomous nervous system. This breathing technique is monotonous and boring. Gamification is a current trend to make tasks more enjoyable. The seminar focuses on the development and evaluation of exergaming concepts for HRV biofeedback. Furthermore a biofeedback framework was developed during the project, which will be presented as well.
