Project description

The project has the main goal to contribute to an increased understanding of which factors cause MS. The general focus is interaction between environmental and genetic factors and more specifically, among others, exposures such as smoking and Vitamin D. EIMS is a multi-center study headed at the Institute of Environmental Medicine at Karolinska Institutet. EIMS works in collaboration with 42 neurological clinics around Sweden and has national coverage; all the Swedish counties are represented.
