Self catering, restaurants and cafés on campus

On Solna and Huddinge campuses you can heat and eat your own food in the designated student dining areas or buy a meal at the various cafés and lunch restaurants.

Self catering

Microwaves and tables are available in the student dining areas at Alfred Nobels Allé 8 on floors 4 and 8 and Alfred Nobels Allé 23 on floors 3, 4 and 5.

Some departments also provide microwaves and self catering areas. Please check with your institution if this applies to you.

Restaurants and cafés

At Alfreds restaurang och café you can eat lunch for SEK58 and choose from four options. Some dishes are lactose- or gluten-free.

Matmakarna consists of a café and a lunch restaurant which cook food from scratch. Some dishes are egg-, lactose- or gluten-free.

In the Mediterranean restaurant Flemingsbergs Stories you'll find hearty salads, hot dishes and sandwiches.

Restaurang 61:an offers three different lunches: sustainable, traditional and vegetarian.

Campus Solna

Self catering

Microwaves are available in the dining area by Jöns Jacob lunch restaurant in the University Library building, Berzelius väg 3 as well as the ones in the MF building. Self caterers may use the indoor and outdoor tables of the restaurants.

Restaurants and cafés

Restaurant Königs, located in SMI's main building, serves lunch weekdays 11-14. Choose from three different lunch options including a vegetarian dish.

The faculty club Svarta Räfven serves business lunch weekdays 1130-1330. It is currently closed for renovations and will move to a venue. This page will be updated with the latest news when available.

Resturang Hjulet has five different daily lunch dishes to choose from. There is always at least one gluten- and lactose-free option as well as lighter lunch options.

Jöns Jacob holds both a cafe and a restaurant. The café serves light meals and the restaurant has five lunch options on weekdays: Dish of the day ('dagens'), a light option, vegetarian, pasta and seafood.

Mollan Asian Kök offers a daily lunch buffet with six different Asian dishes as well as sushi.
