Abrasivity of toothbrushes and dental materials
This research focuses on toothpastes and toothbrushes particularly the abrasive effect. We have developed a method that enables measurement of the abrasive effect both qualitatively, i.e. the roughness after brushing and quantitatively i.e. the amount of reduced material. Furthermore, we have investigated the importance of surface roughness on bacterial growth.
